Meet and greet with Toca and Jason. Too bad I couldn't get a photo with Jason. But again, the best night of my life.

I found myself so fortunate as to be at this show the other night. I have seen many shows by many various artists/bands of varying genre’s but Jason Mraz and Toca Rivera take the prize of being my personal favorite. From the moment the two of them walked on stage till the end 2 1/2 hours later it was smiles, good vibes and beautiful music all around.

I was naive when purchasing my ticket months ago that I was missing out on not seeing Jason perform with his full band and that I was settling for second best. I was well proven wrong. I feel now that the best way to see Jason is with at one of these acoustic performances with Toca. There is an intimate quality that cannot be beaten.

So many new songs were played, so people may not have been familiar with a lot of the material (such as myself), but I feel that just added another special element to the evening. Jason And Toca weren’t just great performers, but also hysterical comedians, cracking jokes, telling stories and laughing with the rest of us in the concert hall.

I think it’s a true testament to these two men’s skills that they took a large venue of adoring fans, and played in such a way that it made it feel like we were hanging out with them, jamming on a porch telling stories as friends. For the show to be called “You are Loved” and that being the last message sung is completely appropriate, because I am very confident that everybody left that night feeling that they were indeed loved.

And I suppose it goes without saying, but I will anyway, we love you right back brothers!

Thank you for an amazing evening, I hope to see you again.
      Be well.

P.S. Shaking hands with Jason at the end was a great ending to a great night.
I’ll attempt to upload a video I took from the show too.
