Beautiful LOVE is a Four-Letter Word tour of NYC – especially moving after Hurricane Sandy. This song is my mantra these days, and my ringtone! I think it should be everyone’s. I was lucky enough to get to meet Jason at his concert in Camden not too long ago, and I was thrilled to be able to let him know what this song, in particular, means to me. Watching him on the Mark Twain Award show for Ellen DeGeneres last night was sheer joy.
I was having the worse day, spent it fighting with insurance companies over my son’s benefits, feeling sorry for myself and wondering how I was going to make his life better. Got into my car, crying the whole time and turned on this song “Living in the Moment.” I couldn’t help but stop, look around me and understand that we all have struggles, just different ones. This song truly affected me like no other song. I guess that is the beauty of music and I’m grateful that it’s there when your own words can be your biggest enemy. Thanks Jason.
