a person who thinks all the time has nothing to think about
except thoughts
he loses touch with reality
and lives in a world of illusions.

-Alan Watts

Enough said. Let’s go play some music.

I prefer finger-picking the guitar over using a guitar pick.I am no guitar expert.I am a very meager beginner who rarely practices.Yet,when I first bought my guitar, I instinctively went into a finger strumming and tapping session.I was thinking to myself “whoa..that sounded like a concert in itself”.These days however, I am trying in vain to CONDITION myself to use a pick.Maybe i must give up the pick altogether and just use my fingers to pick..Fingerpicking comes VERY naturally to me.hmmmm

I just showed this to my husband who watched it with his jaw on the ground followed by “that was —-ing amazing’!!! I can hear him now playing his music in the other room, tuning out….or in…. his busy, wordy brain. I can feel his contentment. Thanks for sharing. :-)

Wow this is awesome. Plucking is very difficult and i’m horrible at it but this guy makes it seem so effortless.

He grew up with a guitar in his hands and now..obviously great.

Do you mind if I listen to the new album of The Shins? Just until 14 of April..

As far as the thinking goes… I just cant seem to turn my brain off… As mush as I try. Only thing that works is keeping busy or listening to music. That’s where you come in. Don’t know what I would do if it weren’t for your music. Thank you for saving me from a world of illusions. lol :D

Amazing guitarist. Thank you for sharing. I really love how worn out and used up his guitar is. Just shows his passion for playing. It inspires me to pick up and starts practicing again! :)

Whew! You said he right? I’m off the hook then! When somethings wrong, problems, sickness, upset, that usually involves someone I LOVE I turn over every stone trying to problem solve. I then usually solve the problem or learn to accept it and then carry on.Sometimes it takes awhile. Dreaming isn’t so bad, it adds to creativity, inventions, beautiful songs and music and lots of other awesome stuff. I guess as long as it’s not obsessive and taking over your life. What was the statement or question again??? I tend to ramble, when I’m feeling high. lol.
Lovely music :) What would life be like without song and music? I am thankful I can hear!! Happy day everyone.

It’s amazing how much music one person can make in a single setting with a single instrument.

COOL video. And yes, turning OFF the brain is important. It is hard to take in the sights if you are traveling at 100 mph. That is a lesson I learned long ago as a natural born ‘over thinker’ (Geez, another label – self applied, however!) :) J

Amazing, and he only did the “super-guitar-player slash I’m really constipated” face once during the entire thing. Bravo!
