MISSION:
The mission of the Jason Mraz Foundation is to invoke & inspire change in the human experience.
The foundation seeks to meet its mission through advancing equality, promoting the arts, empowering through education and preserving the environment.
VISION:
To achieve a society where all persons are treated equally, where education is a tool for driving social change, where the arts are widely accessible to all and where the environment is preserved for generations to come.
HISTORY:
Established in 2011 by Jason, the Jason Mraz Foundation, through strategic partnerships and grassroots fundraising efforts, supports various organizations who are on the ground driving positive change in the human experience. Jason’s passion for philanthropy has allowed for support grants of over $200,000 and has been recognized as a key leader in building social change.
Organizations we’ve supported include:
Free The Slaves, True Colors Fund, VH1 Save The Music Foundation, School of the Performing Arts in the Richmond Community (SPARC), Surfrider, NRDC, Life Rolls On, and MusiCares®.
